Frances Craddock

Frances P. Craddock, Nov. 22, 1918 – June 11, 2012

Frances was the eldest daughter of Jack and Willie Bell Harber. She was born in a log cabin in Glen Rose, Texas. She married L.E. Williamson and together they had a son, Tahl Williamson also known as “Red”. She later married Walter Eugene Craddock who was a Navy man. She did extensive traveling wherever he was stationed. Of all her travels she always said she liked the Phillipines the best. Frances was a long standing member of the Elgin VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Craddock; her parents, two brothers, Doug Harber and Charles Harber; three sisters, Bonnie Harber White, Betty Harber Reinhard and Jerry Harber Gandy; and a grandson, Don Williamson.

Frances is survived by her son, Tahl Williamson, two granddaughters; Lori Ann Williamson and Tammy Pauline Kjera; 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; and her niece and caretaker Davana Francine Sorsby.

Frances was one of a kind and she was quick witted and fun to be around. She will be greatly missed.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Hood County, Texas.
