Vernon Herron Barrier, 66, of Elgin, Tx. passed away March 6, 2011.
He was born July 5, 1944 to Ennis Dalton & Dorothy (Jones) Barrier in Karnes Co., Texas.
Vernon worked 10 years for Hanson Brick. He loved being on the computer, talking and fishing. Vernon also loved being with his family.
He is survived by sons; Billy Wayne Barrier & wife Kathryn, David Glenn Barrier & wife Regina, Tracy Lee Barrier & wife Angelica and Benton Wade Barrier and one brother; Billy Gene Barrier and 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, 604 Hwy. 95 N., Elgin. Graveside services will be Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11 AM at Elgin Cemetery with Pastor Jason Huddleston officiating.
