November 5, 1963- November 19,2011
John died of severe heart complications. He suffered through more surgeries and pain than any man I know. He was far from a quitter, so fighting is how he lasted the past few years. During his 48 years on this earth, John touched so many peoples lives. He was always sure to make a memorable impression. He was a jack of all trades. If someone needed anything, John was going to find a way. Though he could be scary at times, he was the most loving and gentlest man you’d ever meet.
John’s legacy lives on through his daughters; Ashly & Lisa and also grandchildren that he loved so much; Devante “D.J.”, Marisa and Ray Jr.
“Daddy you may be gone but I promise, you will NEVER be forgotten.”

Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 1 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Speir Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin.
