Theodore (Ted) Ostas
Aug. 14, 1922 – Jan. 11, 2012
Oblivious of aging, Ted lived intensely until he lost his battle against heart disease. He was proudest of being a devoted husband, caregiver, and life-long lover of Alice Cech Ostas who passed in 1972; a father of two successful children he believed touch the future through teaching: Deborah Ostas of Elgin, TX and Dr. Daniel T. Ostas of Norman, OK; an Army Air Force pilot in WWII – Pacific arena; a geologist and oil, gem, and mineral prospector throughout Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon; and an open-minded seeker of truth who believed in the future and in creating and living his own dream.
Brother to Chester Ostas, deceased; Helen Mikol of Fairmont, W. VA; and Dr. James Ostas of Bowling Green, OH
