Kathryn Merle Barrington, 93, of Elgin, passed away on September 16, 2012.

Graveside service & burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Elgin Cemetery.

Merle was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Barrington; her parents, Harry & Jane Bennett;
her son, Allan Barrington; one son-in-law, Troy Staton; and her sister, Emma Jones.

Merle is survived by her children: Beth Staton of Taylor; Aubrey Barrington & wife, Eloise of Coupland; Jo Ann Ging & husband, Ewald( Butch), of Elgin; Robert Barrington & wife, Elgene, of Beeville. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 34 great grand children, and 14 great great grandchildren.
