Ynacio “Nash” Tabarez, Sr., age 67 of Austin, Texas formerly of Elgin passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 surrounded by his family.
Ynacio was born August 1, 1946 in Elgin. He graduated from Elgin High School and enlisted in the US Navy and served in the Vietnam War. Ynacio was also a mechanic for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Rosa Tabaraz, children, Linda Tabarez, Ynacio Tabarez, Jr., and Daniel Tabarez, two grandsons, Leo and John Tabarez, brothers, Pete Cantu, Joe Cantu and Gap Cantu, sisters, Maria Tabarez, Dominga Ortiz, Lucy Cantu, Paula Cantu as well as a host of other family members and friends.
A prayer service will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Interment to follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
