Jane Arden Wiley

Jane Arden Wiley 83, of Elgin, TX passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Jane was born March 5, 1931 to Alton and Fay Whitehead in Gulf, Texas. Jane was a member of First Baptist Church, Elgin. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Jane loved flowers, playing the piano, and cooking for her family and friends. She was a Member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.   During her husbands’ Texas National Guard years, they made many good friends from Gatesville, TX.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jarmon Roger Wiley; and brother Duane Whitehead. She is survived by her son Jay Wiley; daughters Janet Dunbar, and Judy Kay Dunbar (Joseph); grandchildren Holli and Doug Lauersdorf, Amy and Mark Blevins, Clint and Steffanie Dunbar, Jessica Thacker, Garyn Dunbar, Adam and Vanessa Dunbar, and Kelly Dunbar; great-grandchildren Tara, Taryn, Abby, Kylan, Michael, Austin, and Lacey; and sisters-in-law Ruth Whitehead, and Muriel Westbrook.
