Betty Ruth Dye age 71, of Elgin passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
Betty was born July 29, 1942 to Russell and Ruth Owens in Eastland County, Texas.
She was a Legal Assistant for many years in the Austin Area and a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church where she served as the Church pianist.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Dub Dye, sons; Mark Dye and wife Perlie and David Dye and wife LeaAnn, sister; Trudy Jean Alexander, and grandchildren; Laney, Michael, Daniel and Nicholas.
A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, June 13, 2014, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A celebration of Betty’s Life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 14, 2014, Cedar Valley Baptist Church, Elgin. Interment will follow in the Elgin Cemetery.
