Rosemary Moore Nauert, age 75 of Manor, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2014 with her family and friends by her side.
Rosemary was born at St. David's Hospital in Austin, Texas on August 10th, 1939 to Fred Sr. and Sarah Deen Moore.
At two and a half years old she became a student at the Annette Duval's School of Dancing and taught for Mrs. Duval for over 10 years. She met the love of her life Alto Nauert Sr., on a blind date at Dessau Hall and danced to Elvis Presley. Rosemary and Alto celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on August 21st, 2014.
Rosemary wore many hats and loved to do headstands in class; wife, mother, friend, and teacher to all she met. She went back to college with her daughters at UT and received her teaching degrees in English and Spanish in 1978. Mrs. Nauert taught English, Spanish, AVID, Latin, coached Boys and Girls Golf, Gymnastics, and Volleyball, at her high school Alma Mater, A. N. McCallum for 28 years. She retired from AISD in 2009 and volunteered at Manor ISD's AVID program.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fred Moore Jr.
She is survived by her husband, children; Ginger Lawless and husband, Mike, Alto Nauert Jr. Catherine (Candy) Bone and husband, Dennis, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their thanks to Serenity Senior Living in Pflugerville, TX for the exceptional care given to Rosemary during her time there.
Private memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.
