Pete Hernandez

Pete Hernandez, 63 years of age passed away July 24, 2015 surrounded by his family.

Pete was born October 19, 1951 to Victor and Julia Hernandez in Coupland Texas.He was a mechanic for over 36 years and retired from his profession in 2005. Pete enjoyed sending time with his family, watching/ listening to any sporting event especially those that his grandson Cross Hernandez was a part of.

He is survived by his wife of 40 year of marriage Rosemary Hernandez, daughter Melissa Hernandez Carreon, son in-law Chris Carreon, son Rico Hernandez and grandson Cross Hernandez. He is also survived by his siblings; sister Carolina (Carolyn) Guerrero, brother in-law Mose Guerrero, sister Anastasia (Ann) Soliz, brother Filemon (Phill) Hernandez, sister Mary Helen (Helen) Lopez, brother in-law Javier Lopez, sister Cecelia (Shelia) Hernandez, brother Santiago (Jimmy) Hernandez, sister in-law Theresa Hernandez, sister Christina Mendez, brother in-law Robert Mendez and brother Victor Hernandez Jr. He also has 26 nieces and nephews that he is survived by.

A visitation will begin 6:00 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2015, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, July 30, 2015, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by a reception in the parish hall.
