Aaron Wills

Wills, Aaron Dean. Age 28, of Bastrop, Texas. Passed away on April 16, 2019 in an automobile accident.

Aaron was born to Nancy Louise (Mayfield) Holloway and Jimmy Leland Wills on February 10, 1991.He was the second child of Nancy and the first born to Jimmy. Aaron started fishing with his Pa Paw, Bubba Steve, Uncle David, Uncle Joe, and brother Ronnie as a toddler. He spent all of his spare time on the river; fishing and paddling up one side of the river and down the other.

Aaron was a wonderful father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers William (Jay) Mayfield and Wilson Barnes, great grandmothers Rose Mayfield and Rosie Barnes, and his Uncle Karl Mayfield.

He is survived by his grandfather Darryl Bruce Mayfield, grandmother Virginia Lou Mayfield, mother Nancy Louis Holloway, father Jimmy Leland Wills, brother RONNIE James McCullough, sister Heather Nicole Wills (Pacheco), daughter Kasi Cheyenne Miner, and Uncles Joe Luther Mayfield, David Edward Mayfield, and Stephen Douglas Mayfield (Bubba Steve).

A memorial was held in his honor on Saturday, April 21 ^st on the banks of the Colorado River. The family will hold a separate private gathering at a later date.
