Antonio Lopez

Antonio Lopez, 63, passed away on October 10, 2025, at his home, in Elgin, Texas. He was born on July 10, 1962, in Mercedes, Texas to Jacinto and Jesusa (Rodriguez) Lopez, both who preceded him in death. Antonio was a dedicated father and beloved family member, deeply cherished by those who knew him.

Antonio had a passion for boxing and was proud to have won the Golden Glove in 1979. He spent many years working as a landscaper and in construction. Above all, Antonio valued family and enjoyed visiting his siblings in South Texas. He loved spending time at yard sales, watching football and all sports, and relished days spent at the beach.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Rivera and her husband Oscar, Nelda Villega and her husband Noah, Kimbery Lopez, Ruby Serrano, and Antonio Lopez Jr. and his wife Amanda.

Antonio is also survived by companion, Estela Beltran, his siblings, Manuel Lopez, David Lopez, Johnny Lopez, Frank Lopez, Adela Rincon, Danny Lopez, and Rosa Lopez. Additionally, he will be remembered as a loving grandfather to 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather to honor Antonio's life as follows: a Rosary will be held at Providence - Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin, Texas, on October 15, 2025, at 7:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elgin on October 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM. He will then be laid to rest at Elgin Latin Cemetery on October 16, 2025.

Antonio's loving spirit and dedication to his family will be missed by all who knew him.
