Edward Saenz

Edward "Eddie" Saenz, age 72, of Elgin, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

Eddie was born on January 22, 1949, in Elgin, Texas to Facundo and Alifonsa Saenz.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Irma Saenz, and his brother, Fred Saenz, Jr.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Alicia Carlos, his daughters, Lori Rubalcava (Jorge) and Melisa Milligan (E.J.), his stepchildren, Fernando Carlos, Jr., Anna Carlos, Teresa Aguirre (Greg), Joseph Carlos (Tiffany), and Trinity Carlos (Heather).

He is also survived by his siblings, Maryann Arreaga (Jorge), Angie Saenz, Arturo Saenz (Vivian), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elgin. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
