It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Frank R. Villarreal, Jr. (Poncho) in Austin, Texas on September 8, 2025, at the age of 69.

Frank was born in Buda, Tx, on June 19, 1956.

Frank brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind, giving heart and radiant smile. The love and happiness Frank shared will forever be in the hearts of his family and many friends.

Frank is survived by his parents, Frank and Celia Villarreal of San Marcos, Tx. wife Debra J. Villarreal for 37 years of Elgin, Texas. Brother-in-law Don Hipple, Jr. wife Terry, Sister-in-Law Leza R. Buentello. Nephews and nieces Donnie Hipple, fiancé Dale, children Hayden, Brycen and Kayla. Stephen Hipple, Kendra Casteleyn, husband Shane, children Kinsley and Logan. Taylor Buentello, fiancé John children Collins and Lane & Kyle Buentello of Lubbock, Tx. Cammie and Millie his four-legged babies.

We invite you to privately celebrate Frank’s memory in your own way. A service is not being held currently as this time.
