Jesse Howard Allred, son of Johnnie and Elaine Allred, was born on August 24, 1962 in Grants, New Mexico nestled in the Zuni Mountain’s at the base of Mount Taylor. Jesse served our nation in the Army where he was stationed in Germany for a time. Upon his return he continued his service as a civilian on several different bases here in the United States. He loved The Land of Enchantment and likely would have stayed but one day in 2007, in Albuquerque, lightning struck. He met Kristin Witta. They were married on May 1, 2008 and home to Texas they came. Jesse and Kristin were together for almost 10 years and during that time, you never saw one without the other. True love, constant companions.
On New Year’s Day we lost a truly great man. Jesse was undoubtedly one of the kindest and most selfless men any of us had ever known. He had a way with people and, brought so much light, joy, laughter, and comfort into all our lives. Whether it be kind words, a helping hand, or beautiful snapshots of the new days sunrise, Jesse made people happy; he will be truly and deeply missed. As we begin to move forward, he will remain with us, in our own ways, but certain things in life will likely forever be marked by his memory. Lending a helping hand to a friend, chickens maybe, but sunrises always.
A Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2018 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
