Marissa Denise Gonzales

Our beloved Marissa Denice Gonzales peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, leaving a profound impact on all who knew her. Born on October 9, 1987, she was the cherished daughter of Gloria Martinez and the late Joe Michael Gonzales.

Marissa was a devoted mother to her three beautiful daughters: Mia Denice Garcia, Adrina Dai Garcia, and RiAnna Love Garcia. She also leaves behind her loving brothers – Matthew Gonzales (Candy), Michael Gonzales, and Joe Michael Gonzales – along with her nieces, nephews, and a close-knit circle of family and friends who will carry her spirit in their hearts.

A gifted cook, Marissa poured love into every meal she prepared for her family and friends. Her joyful motto, "Live, Laugh, and Love," was not just words; it was the way she approached each day, filling her home with warmth and laughter.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.

A Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest in the Elgin Latin Cemetery.

Marissa's absence will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love and light will forever remain in our hearts.
